Charleston Veterans Outreach Center
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Outreach Center located 521 Central Avenue, Charleston, WV, 304-343-3825 offers excellent service to veterans seeking assistance. The Center is staffed by highly qualified counselors who are sensitive to the needs of veterans, and their families. The Center provides service to all military veterans. The Center boasts both male and female counselors.
I guess there are many veterans and family members who are reluctant to visit an Outreach Center near them. There is no stigma attached to seeking assistance to relieve some of the trauma experienced during military service. Recent articles and studies have shown that many Vietnam veterans are now seeking or receiving assistance through their local Veterans Outreach Centers.
